Strange fit
While I ordered my size, they didn't fit right. waist was too high and they fit what I think girls panties would fit like.
Great conversation starter at dinner parties
These are a little large for the size when they arrive, but the shrink a little bit in the wash to fit perfectly. Mid-rise, that's not too low or high.
Great at first, but they don't hold-up well
I bought several of these at an American Apparel store and loved them so much at first that I went back and bought a few more. The fit, cut, and color selection are all great.
I'm not one of these men that wears their underwear down into dust -- these briefs just did not hold-up after a few months of use.
Though fantastic at first, the waistband and fabric both lost a lot of their elasticity and color within a few months of purchase.
Yes -- I still use them, but they look a bit worn.
For comparison, CK briefs I received as a gift have held-up very well over time. Unfortunately, I find the cut and fit of their briefs, along with the company's lack of support for living wages entirely unappealing.
You may want to consider 2xist No Show Low Rise Pima Cotton Brief 2920 as an alternative. They are pricier and yes -- it's less fabric -- but I find it entirely worth it for the fit, comfort and quality of construction. These are flattering, have held-up very well, and are my favorite pair by far.
I still love American Apparel briefs and would even consider getting more -- I just wish they held-up better in the wash.

Till now i have been purchasing only Ck underwear, I must say these briefs are as good in quality, the fitting is very good, its just on the hips. The colours are excellent !, I had the green and black, and planning to get all the colors. Best of all is the price, all worth it.

The new breifs I purchased fit and feel great!
They remind me of the old calvin klien breifs when the quality was there.
The cotton is very soft.
As for the sizing I needed to go up in size from large to extra large.
I found them smaller then what I normally purchase which is size 36.
