Coat was as described but glad I read reviews of buying the next size up if you have a muscular build. Normal size of 40 short. Purchased 42 short and was a perfect fit. Has a cinch cord at waist for those with an athletic build. Nice option but does put the coat in a more "casual wear" category.

wish it didn't fit like a suit coat
From a features and quality perspective, the coat is top shelf. However, I don't like my outdoor clothing to fit like a restrictive, stiff suit coat, which is unfortunately how this jacket is cut. Even going a full size over my usual size, I still could barely bring my elbows out in front of me without feeling like I was going to rip the coat. Defiitely needs a different cut to make it something I'd wear on a day to day basis.
