Must own, very versatile jacket
Mountain Hardwear® Men's Synchro Jacket
This jacket is the right weight for most situations, this jacket could be called the ONE jacket since it works for many things.
Style: The taping makes it look different and techie
Fit: great cut and has bottom draw to keep it to your body
Water: it is not 100% waterproof so you would not wear it on the "the deadliest catch boating trip" but if you are a normal person who is only in the rain for a few minutes this will do great.
Pockets: nice lined pockets at the correct height, they are also deep for a waterbottle or tall beer!
Outside pocket: we used to call this the gun pocket, now it is a cell pocket or key pocket so you can keep your jacket zipped up.
No issues with this jacket.

Not a bad little jacket
I just got this jacket, so this review is on first impressions. It's a nice Jacket. I like the colour and the accents make it look cool and technical, which while not really important, does have a place in items of this type. I've also found it to be waterproof, and reasonable warm. I have yet to try it out while being terrible active, but so far it seems to be doing the job it was bought for. The only thing I think could make it better is if it was a bit longer in the body, but that is a small quibble.
Great jacket
Great light jacket for Spring and Fall. I don't use it for outdoor adventure, so can't comment on its "performance" in that sense. For me, it's just a great looking, comfortable everyday jacket to wear. You can build layers under it if you like and probably wear it in pretty cold weather, too. Lots of secure, zippered pockets to keep your stuff.
Synchronize your jackets.
I just ordered this jacket recently and it arrived today. I am from Dallas, but it has done excellent so far today in 30-40 degree weather with only a tee shirt on underneath. The quality is magnificent. The specific jacket I ordered was from Altrec. I have had excellent service from both amazon and Altrec. I tested the jacket with water, and out of the package water simply flows off. Everything about this jacket is amazing. I would DEFINITELY buy another. My only complaint is that due to the sealed zippers on the exterior pockets, they can be hard to open. The pocket on the arm is pretty hard to open when wearing the jacket. This is a small point, but at least the water stays out. All in all, this is the best jacket I have ever owned and I won't wear another jacket until this one wears out.
This jacket turned me into a Mtn Hardwear fan
I'll keep it brief - this jacket has a nice trim athletic fit, it is waterproof, it is relatively lightweight, very comfortable, and looks great. It may seem like a lot to pay for a jacket but after a year of daily use it's still going strong, and has turned out to be a worthy investment.
