Incredible
I purchased this robe months ago. It's been in the wash dozens of times and it has been an outstanding product. It's warm, comfortable, and I use it everyday. Unlike a lot of robes that are thin or disintegrate after use, this product has weathered normal use and continues to look great. I also remember that the packaging was incredibly thoughtful. There was a little handwritten note inside that thanked me for my purchase and hoped that I would enjoy the robe. It doesn't make a hill of beans of difference but it demonstrates how well crafted these are made. I would buy one for yourself and everyone you know.

This robe is a replacement for a Lands End Terry robe that has lasted ~7 years. But Lands End no longer makes the heavy weight terry robe (at least I did not see it), and sells the lighter weight at a higher price I think.
When I read the reviews, I thought this robe might work for me. It is ok. It is light-medium weight and soft, but we will see how long it holds up. My concern is in the finishing. The belt loops look like they are not very firmly attached. The seams do not look well finished and the robe does not have enough overlap to tie at the stomach and close at the bottom.
The company did ship quickly, and there was a hand written note inside. I appreciate those things, but to me the quality of the product is of utmost importance, and those things are just pleasant pluses. I will report back after wearing the robe for a while and seeing how it holds up to everyday use.

My husband is really, really difficult to buy for or impress. He needed a new bathrobe, but I wanted to get him something a little more special than plain old terrycloth. I heard about using bamboo to make fabric and had thought that a fascinating idea. When I found this bathrobe I was thrilled. The reviews I had read were correct. The bathrobe is heavy and warm and thick. You can tell it's a nice bathrobe as soon as you pick it up out of the box. And my husband loves it. I've even heard him telling friends about his "bamboo bathrobe" and how great it is!
Best bathrobe I've ever had
This robe is an excellent value. My old cotton terry bathrobe needed replacing for quite a while---it was litearlly disintegrating. I'd looked around for something reasonably priced to replace it, and wasn't having much luck.
I bought some bamboo towels last year that I'm crazy about. The white bamboo blend is whiter than plain cotton, too, so they look really fresh and clean.
When I saw this robe on Amazon, I thought it might be "the one". I've had it for about 3 months, and I haven't been disappointed. It washes beautifully, and it's well-made. I was a little concerned about the "one size fits all", but I decided to take a chance. I'm 5'9", and it's mid-calf length on me. The size is generous, with a nice long belt. Feels great after a soak in the hot tub!
The vendor shipped very quickly and the robe was packed beautifully. It would have been ready give as a gift just the way it arrived in the mail.
