Reviews:
The Sound of Ipanema in Rio I have always loved Paul Winter. This disc is a beautiful example of his work. This is not like the old elevator music. It is music that brings back memories and puts you in a great mood. Mas Tambem Quem Mandou (What Made Me Do It)- que esta repetida, ou seja, é igual à segunda faixa - 2. Se é tarde me perdoa (Forgive Me If I'm Late)- o que evidentemente não pode estar correto. Fantastic Absolutely great Bossa from the sixties. I owned this LP along with many, many Brazilian LPs i.e. Antonio Carlos Jobim. Joao, Stan Getz, etc. This was always one of my favorites, straight forward, melodic, and Winters great arrangements. |
