Prodcut Description: [More Information ...]
Over 2 million records sold, three gold and one platinum single, a gold DVD release, countless sold out tour dates and numerous awards and nominations including the 2008 Grammy Nomination For 'Best New Artist' Award, you can say that Paramore has reached mainstream stardom. Arguably one of the most anticipated releases of 2009, 'brand new eyes' is by far the band's most personal album. Produced by Grammy Award-winner Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Kid Rock, My Chemical Romance) and co-produced by the band, the long-awaited follow-up to 2007's platinum certified second album, 'Riot!' The 11-track collection is unquestionably Paramore's best and brightest album to date, fit to burst with all the exuberant melodies, breathless hooks, and irrepressible energy that has made the Nashville-based band one of the most popular rock outfits in recent memory.

Reviews:

Brand New Eyes
I hardly ever write reviews but I felt like I had to for this album because I see some people trashing it. I've been a Paramore fan since "All We Know Is Falling" and I can honestly say that Paramore has come far. If you loved "All We Know Is Falling" and "Riot!", then you will love "Brand New Eyes". It's probably not what Paramore fans would expect. But don't worry that's not a bad thing. "Brand New Eyes" is more adult. Lyrically it's more mature and the music has got more of a darker edge to it. The first single "Ignorance" speaks for the entire record. Some people think it's a step down from their first 2 albums but I highly disagree. All in all it's a beautifully written record. It's hard to pick a favorite song from this album but right now "The Only Exception" is my favorite. Any true hardcore Paramore fan will love it just as much as the last 2 Paramore records.

great follow up record
the reviews seemed to be mixed on this one for most people. as a huge paramore fan for a long time, i feel that this record has some of their best material on it. from the opening track to the last track, paramore leave you wanting the experience to never end. there's a sense of struggle and strife through the first half of the album and then it swtiches over to hope and belief. the more i listen to this album, the more i love it.

Loving Brand New Eyes
I love this album so much that its insane. This album proves why Paramore is my favorite band. Just when I thought that Paramore couldn't get any better, they did! This album shows tremendous growth from this band and every lyric of every song shows how bright this band truly shines. To me,every song shows a peek into the places this band has been and then some. You won't be disappointed with this album @ all. If @ all possible, get the deluxe box edition. That's what I got and it's worth the money.

Catchy
Got it when it was a few bucks because I had heard a few Paramore songs before and I liked the sound. Hayley is a great singer. I don't think anyone can deny that they write some catchy melodies. This is a nice CD with pretty much no filler. The only song I don't like as much as the rest is "Feeling Sorry" because the chorus just doesn't work for me. The rest is all solid though. The couple of slower acoustically driven songs are a welcome break between the uptempo songs. Worth the money if you're a fan of the band.

Ignore the critics....It's still Paramore!
I listened to it yesterday and all the songs are nice. It's still Paramore. They still have the same sound and they have produced a nice variety of songs. Sure I like Riot better, but I think Riot is one of the top rock albums of the decade. Paramore has done a nice job with this new CD, and I think it's better than their first CD, All We Know Is Falling. I listened to it for hours in my car, and it was very enjoyable. I'll be listening to it many more times in the future. BTW, I got confused reading these reviews that critique every song. Just pop it in your CD player, put it on random, and enjoy it. I did not hear any bad songs on this CD.
