Cage the Elephant are a band of syncopated groove- oriented Rock 'N' Rollers whose goal is to convey power to their audience through their music without the interference of too much background information, preferring to let their music be their message. Their Mission Statement is: 'Frantic Volume -Laden Maximum Rock 'N' Roll!' 2009.

Good, but be warned....
Quite a good album with a somewhat different twist to some well worn licks. Beware however, even though this album doesn't come with a "parental advisory" warning, it does contain explicit lyrics throughout.
Not sure what to make of them..
The band has the grunge look to them. With a touch of The White Stripes added in a way also.
Discovered the by accident on Letterman
Am embarrased to admit I'd never heard of these boys but saw them recently on Letterman. I was so blown away I immediately ordered the CD - which I've listened to non-stop since it arrived. For high energy, intelligent lyrics and catch tunes - they are tough to beat.

Awesome Band- Awesome Sound
CTE is different than a lot of bands on the radio today and they definitely are paving their own way with their own style and sound. The CD is great, sample some songs and BUY THE ALBUM!!! I have tickets to a show later this month and I am STOKED! Album is great from start to finish, I promise you WONT be disappointed.
