Prodcut Description: [More Information ...] Michael Jackson was still going for pop hits with 1991's Dangerous, but he also front-loaded the album with six straight Teddy Riley-assisted cuts. This half-hour swoop of tense, aggressive, often angular funk was Jackson's most interesting music since Thriller, and still sounds, well, invincible on this remastered edition. After that, the record's uneven, but there's nothing embarrassing about it, either. "Gone Too Soon," a non-Jackson composition about teen AIDS casualty Ryan White, is a quiet statement (particularly played next to the choir-laden "Heal the World," "Keep the Faith," and "Will You Be There") showing that the star doesn't always have to get showy. The sprightly "Black or White" is explicitly pro-interracial romance, an angle its video didn't go near, and the urgent "Give In to Me" is almost scary. Scary good, that is. --Rickey Wright

Reviews:
MICHAEL JACKSON'S DANGEROUS IS BY FAR... ONE OF THE BEST IN THE MICHAEL JACKSON COLLECTION. EVERY SONG ON THE CD IS OF THE FREAKIN' HOOK. IT WILL HAVE YOU EITHER DANCING AND HAPPY,OR CRYING AND SAD OR ALL OF THE ABOVE! YOU CAN SEE MICHAEL SO CLEARLY THROUGH HIS MUSIC. I IMAGINE HOW HE WOULD DANCE WHEN I HEAR SOME OF THE SONGS. IT IS MY FAVORITE MICHAEL JACKSON CD OF ALL TIME! THE BOY IS BAD... THE BOY IS DANGEROUS!

Where to Begin I don't know, where do you start to talk about any record by Michael Jackson?
I guess, I'll write the truth. This is the record that for me spelt out Michael's contribution to the early 90's. It was the first solo album he produced without the input of the legendary Quincy Jones. And, he wrote just about all the songs on it. While he perpetuated his distinctive musical style as cemented with Thriller and Off the Wall, he also updated it and expanded it to encompass other elements of popular interest in 1991. And of course, the "novelization" in his art carries over from his previous records unmistakably.
I can't recall which was the first single I heard on the radio from this album, but I'm pretty sure it was "Black Or White." When I first heard that one, I remember thinking, "Yes! Another Michael Jackson record!!" And, that was the first of seven songs I heard on the air before I got my first copy of the record. Seven songs! How many others can do that in the US, I ask you?
When I heard the album from beginning to end, I was blown away not only by how many hits it generated. I was also dumbfounded by how the original album cuts sounded. The long intros to "In the Closet," "Who Is It," "Heal the World," "Will You Be There" and "Black Or White" were fantastic. Especially knowing they were Michael's inventions. He was as creative and ingenious as any singer/songwriter/performer could get, without having to also be a killer instrumentalist like Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, Steve Clark, Stevie Wonder or Eddie Van Halen (the legend of "Beat It").
Just a drag that you can't also dance on vinyl, cassette or CD. Michael's music makes you want to dance, and of course, nobody could do it like MJ himself. Dangerous Michael Jackson I love it I love everything about Michael. Sing for the angels Michael. I love you "Dangerous" Album - The one you must have at home. I am fans from Hong Kong. The "Dangerous" album is excellent, it is even better than "BAD". I love almost all the songs in this album
Songs included:
- Heal The World
- In the Closet
- Black or White
- Who Is It
- Dangerous
- Give It To Me
- Will You Be There
- Why you wanna trip on me
etc ........
The one I love the most is "Who Is It", very good music arrangement, whatever melody, rhythm and composition. It is an outstanding piece of Michael Jackson. My opinion is that this is the album you must have at home. I greatly suggest you to buy the CD, not download from the website, as the package is very valuable, especialy the booklet inside, that you can never get from download. This album is much WORTH to buy.
Michael is always the King Of Pop! His music never dies!
