Sasha Fierce Good - Beyonce Hummmmm?
When I bought the double CD, I immediately went to the "Sasha Fierce" CD. Its filled with the type of Beyonce tunes that I enjoy, high energy-bass driven. I enjoy "Ego", "Video Phone", "Diva", and "Scared of Lonely." Now for the "I Am..." (Beyonce) CD side. Well, I have played that CD only two times. The first time of course is the obligatory listen to see if I like any songs. "If I Were A Boy" is cool, but that's about it. Some of them I can listen to again...maybe, but last week when I plugged in the CD (mind you this is after having it for about 3 months) I can't connect with it. I enjoyed more of her slower songs on her first solo album vs. this one. Overall, depending on what type of Beyonce tunes you enjoy, I'd just stick to the Sasha Fierce.

Hello, people of the world, I'm gonna review every song, even ones from the deluxe edition. If I Were A Boy- Okay, everybody loves this song, but I hate it! Why would you sing about being a boy???!!! Halo- I love this song because of it's beat and it's ability to show off Beyonce's beautiful voice. I praise this song. Disappear- Now I love this song more than "Halo". I am soooo mad that she doesn't sing it in the tour. I am also really mad that it's not a single. It deserves to be one!!!! Broken-Hearted Girl- I like this one a lot. She sings sooo fast. I'm a good singer, and I couldn't even catch up with the speed of it. Ave Maria- This song is good. Nothing else to say... Smash Into You- This is such...ahh forget it

I AM...MAD THAT I PURCHASED THIS CD
Beyonce is a talented singer who fronted the supergroup Destiny's Child years ago; but it seems that with every solo release the quality gets worse and worse. "Dangerously In Love" was a classic, "B Day" was all over the place (vocally, lyrically), and this CD seems to be a COMPLETE waste of time and money. Sure, there are a FEW decent tracks like "Halo" "Broken Hearted Girl" and "Sweet Dreams" (which is the best track overall), but there are plenty of "Fast Food-Drive Thru Songs" that i call music for the moment, but nothing that will last or stick years from now. I would hope that with her next release she really looks deep into her heart and find herself and bring that person back to the forefront and then maybe we will receive another classic from this talented lady.

A lot of hype but it loses its appeal
Beyonce overmarketed "Single Ladies" and the video is VERY sexy, but there are not many songs on this CD. This CD is good not great.
