Nice Voice, A Couple of Nice Songs.
I rushed out to get this CD on it's drop date and well to be honest, I am a little disappointed. K'Jon has a great & soulful voice but his songs are a little empty for me. I can definitely see why "On the Ocean" was chosen as the single cause it's the best track here. I also like "This Time" it's lyrically nice and has a jazzy feel to it and was the first song that I put on repeat. I don't want to knock this brother cause I got a feeling his future productions will be more on point.
Not worth a second look...
This album sucks! I see why old school artist turn their noses up to this crap that's being played on the radio. This guy would have been given a second of radio air time in the 70's. I think he needs to focus less on how creative his stage name is and more on actually learning how to sing. People buy records to set them in the mood. After listening to this, I'm in the mood to find the toilet!
AWESOME!!
I rarely find cd's worthy of purchasing. However, since I simply fell in love with the "On The Ocean" single, I decided to give this new artist a try. Believe me when I say I am not disappointed. From the first song, "I Get Around" to the last track, all of KJon's songs are awesome. I have been listening to the CD for almost 24 hours straight!!! LOL
You will not be disppointed either, if you buy this wonderful CD.
The lyrics and melodies are what R&B lovers have been craving for years!!!
