Reviews:
Good Dance Music..no reggaeton.
If you go into this CD knowing it is meant to be dance/electronic, then you will not be disappointed. If you are expecting his typical reggaeton you will he heart broken! I think this new cd is good just not what we are accustomed to from Don. I hope the next CD has some reggaeton on it. This CD is great to workout to though.
3 years for this????????????
I can't believe that Don Omar had the balls to put this cd out, 3 years waiting and he puts out 10 songs and none of them are good, when i first heard virtual diva, i thought he was copying arcangel's chica virtual, even so the track is not all that, franco's album was wayyyyy better than this garbage cd. i gave it a one because i couldn't give it a zero because this cd is so awful i would be ashamed to give it away for fear of being cursed out. damn Don what happened? where's eliel in all of this? i think the only place you will probably hear the album is at the gym.
AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL
I always have been a fan of Don Omars music but this album is just awful!
I don't know what the hell he's trying to achieve with this new album, probably being a pioneer in the reggaeton community, but it my opinion there's just no gainsaying the fact that his so-called effort to transcend his reggaeton peers fails miserably!
Being a Don Omar fan, I seriously tried to like this album, so I listed to it over and over again during my commute to work; but listening more often to the songs only corroborated my already existing opinion of the album after listening to it for the very first time: can't believe this is Don Omar, this has nothing to do with reggaeton, this is nothing more than Tom en Jerry meets Britney Spears. Teenie pop?!
Wasn't there anybody in the recording studio who had the balls to speak up to the allmighty Don Omar and tell that this "new sound" he's after isn't the way to go???
Anyways, at work, later on the day, a lot of people were constantly jabbering about idon, some were positive but most of them negative. I didn't want this album in my cd collection any longer, so I made an intern happy by giving her the album I just bought a few hours earlier.
To conclude: I don't recommend this album one bit. I'm sure that after you bought it (maybe because you'd like to know what your friends are talking about if they're discussing idon), you'd give it away after listening to it just one time.
THIS ALBUM IS JUST BAD!
can had done it better
it wasnt that great album.. only like 3 tracks.. out of the 10... he should had a least 15 tracks.. jsut to commercial.. didnt even had one good rap song.. how we roll is one of the stupid song o heard this year... very poor.. no lyrics at all..the chosen, diva virtual, and sexy robotica are the only good songs from the album.. to tell u the truth.. franco el gorila album was better thing this one. i was suprise.. i dont really like his music but i gotta give it to franco. but overall i give this album a 2.. very poor.. try again don..
A different type of muisc but a Good Different.
I just bought the CD due to seeing Fast and Furious the movie then purchasing the album listening to Virtual Diva. I found out this Album came out on April 28, 09 so I went out an purchased it. There were only a few copies left so I got lucky.
Now I don't like a lot of types of music but this CD has amazed me. I like how they put the dance/ techno music into it also they made it futuristic. In my personal opinion Don Omar has created a masterpiece that is unlike any album currently out there to purchase. He tried something new in his music and it sounds great I have no complaints about this CD at all. If I were you I would go get this CD ASAP before stores run out.
