Prodcut Description: [More Information ...] With the release of its 11th studio album Revelation, Third Day's Mac Powell, Tai Anderson, Mark Lee and David Carr have hit new heights as Christian music's premiere rock band. Recorded in Los Angeles, the first time Third Day has worked on a project outside of the South, Third Day's signature rock sounds gets an infusion of new energy thanks to the band's new collaboration with producer by Howard Benson (Daughtry, Flyleaf, Hoobastank, P.O.D.). With his heart on his sleeve, frontman and principal lyricist Mac Powell gives voice to the emotions all believers feel as they attempt to reconcile everyday struggles with the hope born of salvation. Songs like "Run To You," "Born Again," "This Is Who I Am," and the first single, "Call My Name" are like musical stepping stones on the band's creative journey. The result is a new chapter in Third Day's story; it is truly a musical revelation.

Reviews:
One of my favorite CDs The songs on this CD are solidly written. I find great joy in listening to good music with a good message. My favorites are "Call My Name," "Revelation," "Born Again," and "Take it All." My first christian music CD. I'm a picky music fanatic. My marriage is deteriorating and this purchase was a desperate attempt to find something to give me some relief. Well, this is the first Christian music CD I've ever purchased and I sincerely love it. I don't think it's only because I have an ache in my heart, but also because it's a good sounding passionate rock album, with a bit of country maybe? Anyway, this is a small fee to pay for something that will lift you up in dark days. The message is good for any religion. Take a chance and no I'm not getting paid to say this, this is my opinion. Aloha! Revelation I love this CD. Great tunes to sing along with and give glory to God. :) I thought Christian Rock was a hopeless cause - I was so wrong! I was never impressed with the Christian music I had heard in my youth (80's) and wrote off the whole genre. After receiving salvation a few years ago I thought my prospects of enjoying any kind of Christian rock were dismal. I am so glad I was mistaken.
The lead singer has such a rich, deep, soulful voice and the music is absolutely fantastic.
Revelation is one of my favorite albums produced by them and I own nearly all of their music. I listen to them all the time and thank God for their talent and inspiration. Nothing better to me than praising God and hearing music I really enjoy.
I can even listen to their music with my young children and have no concerns about the lyrics whatsoever. In fact, I'd want them to understand the message unlike most Rock music. By the way, I like everything from classical to Rock. But so far my favorite Christian band is Third Day. I hope to enjoy their music for decades to come. Great album, underrated This is a great album - I have no idea why the Christian radio stations don't play it more often. They tend to play the same few songs over and over again when there is such good quality material out there like this album provides. The first 5 or 6 songs on this album are all excellent and "radio worthy" in my opinion. These guys just keep putting out quality stuff - not just great, edifying lyrics, but great music - which is VERY hard to find for me. |
