Like welcoming an old friend over for the holidays, this CD is everything a holiday album should be. Purchased as a "replacement" copy for my original pressing copy, this remastered version has really been cleaned up. This ended up being my most played holiday CD this past year. The fact that the original artwork is back, just really took me back to when the vinyl album was released! Great Christmas classic album to own.

So-So Christmas cd.
There were several really good songs, and a bunch of silly songs that I didn't care for. Would have liked a more "traditional" christmas mix.

Really brings back memories
I remember listening to these songs as I grew up-This is my absolute favorite Christmas CD, and I highly recommend to everyone! It will really help get you in the Christmas spirit!John Denver had a truely beautiful voice.

The Season is Upon Us Now
I recently replaced my old vinyl of this recording with a new CD. I have to say, this recording is still my facvorite Christmas recording. It has a musical and spiritual intamacy that so many musicians long for but fail to achieve. It has a nice mix of traditional and original music that should satisfy your christmas music craving. There are two new recordings, Jingle Bells and Whit christamas on theis CD. It was nice to hear new material by John. John has never failed to deliver music if it was not first perfected, live or recording, it was all good. My wife had never heard this before I purchased the cd, she absoulutly loved it. It will now be on of our standards of Christmas music. My personal fav's are O Holy night, Coventry Carol and A Baby just like you. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
