they do ride up, but they work
As some of the other reviewers said, these do ride up. It's not that bad - I made it though a day at the office with only one incident where I had to go to the bathroom and pull it down (and that was after dashing across the street to beat traffic). While I was just at my desk and doing my normal sedentary work, the shirt stayed put. It worked on me because the stretchy band part made it to my hips though, so if you have a longer torso it probably won't. Or if you have really big hips/booty compared to your waist. Had I worn it under a shirt instead of a dress, it may have made life easier. Now, as for comments by some of the others, this does work. It's ability to hold you in is as good as Spanx's cami, but it lacks that silicone band at the bottom that the Spanx cami has. It definitely should not be worn as a shirt unto itself because the band is highly visible and shiny... unless you want to advertise you're wearing a shaper. And when I say it works, it smooths things out and just gives a little help flattening my post baby belly. It's so substitute for lipo or crunches, but it helps tuck the bulge in slightly. So don't get this expecting it to suddenly give you a flat stomach unless you're basically skinny and only have a bit of a belly. It leaves you looking like you, just slightly better.

They inhance your figure, smooth out your tummy. I wear them with jeans, skirts and shorts. Just great tops!!!

I would give it no stars if I could. I followed the size chart but it didn't do anything. Maybe I should try it smaller.

Not so great
I saw this advertised in a magazine and it looked like a great option for me as my belly is a bit larger than in years past, sigh. When I got it and tried it on i was mortified. I looked WAY larger in the belly than ever before. The belly part it a satin type material and EMPHASIZES my size. I didnt care of it at all. And fyi...I wear a size 7 jean...im 5'4" and weigh (really) 130 lbs. I should not have looked as gross as I did.
