I bought these jeans, size 11 (even though I wear a 12) and they are fabulous! I'm petite so they don't set too low at my waist. I just bought a 2nd pair, a size 9, because I've lost some weight. They're comfortable and figure-flattering.

Lowest - not lower rise.
I am very happy with Wrangler Women's 20x Jackson Lower Rise Slim Fit in every aspect but one: They are tagged as "lower" rise, which I understood as "lower than average". In fact, they are lower than lower and that fact compromises a lot of expected comfort. If your belly is (for any reason) no longer board flat and tight, you will prefer something a bit higher than this "lower" cut. In sitting position they are pinching me right on the postoperative scar about 3 inches below the belly button. For that reason they are absolutely out of choice for riding a horse, or a bicycle. That should explain a lot to that group of us who cannot put on just anything. For the rest of you, ladies, I would not hesitate to buy them if I were you, especially if you like that "lower" rise... The fabric is sturdy, but is molding to the body very nicely. The pockets are good in size and placed strategically so they don't visually increase our "volume". They really make me look slimmer and in better shape. My current normal size is 12, but I bought them in 11, since 13 slid almost down my hips when I tried them on in the fitting room. I should have paid more attention to the rise at the same time.[...]
